Description:
Saltarelle Connemara III (BC) (John Williams layout)(3 voice) (2 and a half rows) (12 basses). This box is in mint condition. It was purchased from John Williams in 2005 and comes with the original layout sheet signed by him. The box is in tune, has never had repairs, comes with a Saltarelle case and plush straps. There are a few tiny wear marks around the area where the straps are attached. That is the extent of the damage on this instrument. I can take any pictures at request and will answer any questions. This model retails new in the $2,800 -- $3,500 range and that is with a waiting period of some months usually.
Standard 21 key Irish B/C layout plus another half row which comes in real handy for playing in a number of keys:
D/F# A/G Bb/C D/Eb F/F#
The bass buttons (notes and chords) are C/F B G D A E
Two knob couplers on treble with 3 voices to choose from or combine and 2 knob couplers on the bass for removing 3rds from chords and low notes from bass notes.
