On the 27th and 28th of July, Suffolk will become host to its very own folk festival with two stages, morris performances, big sessions, ale bars, camping and much more. Spanfest will take place at the beautiful setting of the Tudor Manor house of Kentwell Hall in Long Melford. Acts include Morris Men, Tanna, Ken Nicol, Maddy Prior and Friends, Bellowhead, Whapweasal, Ashley Hutchings and the Rainbow Chasers, Feast of Fiddles, Oysterband, Katie Doherty, Steeleye Span, Laura Younger, Emily and Hazel Askew, Ruth Notman, Ginny and John Ramirez, Bof!, Rosie Eade, Simon Ritchie, Chris and Siobhan Nelson, Penni Mclaren Walker and Bryan Causton, Mary Humpreys and Anahata and the Hosepipe Band.
