Talking to Dave last weekend there'll be another 85 who are keeping very very quiet (with the possibility of a few more).

Session is at a new venue this year - The Hollybush- in a specially booked room - soundproofed no doubt.

I can see a good learning opotunity, this could be realy good to meet loads of melodeon players! Ive never actualy seen another one in my life face to face. Is it purely a learning and session weekend? are there stalls as well? dos this link I have provided say evrything about the weekend? Or does it leave things out or anything?

Ive never been to melodeons at witney... have I not lived!?

No - until you've been to Melodeons at Witney, you most definitely have not lived. Quite simply, it is one of the very best events for melodeon players anywhere that I know of. This year there will be more than 80 players attending, of all abilities. We have a great deal of fun! Go to the home page of the Hands on Music website to find out what it is all about.

No - until you've been to Melodeons at Witney, you most definitely have not lived.

I totally agree.  Last year was my first and I had such a great time that I wrote this years date in my diary on my return home.  I met some great people, experienced the largest melodeon session that I though possible and went to one of the best concerts I have ever been to.  Oh yes, I learnt a lot from the tutors too!

I am looking forward to meeting friends old and new this weekend.
