Hi My name is Ollie and I'm 13. I love musical instruments. I play 9 (if you include singing) and own more. In April, I fell in love with the hurdy-gurdy but at well over ?000 for a decent one, I will have to wait awhile before I get one. But recently I have fallen in love with the squeeze box, after listening to a lot of traditional English music (namely Waterson:Carthy's "Raggle Taggle Gypsy" - great playing from Saul Rose) I know for a fact that a decent squeeze box is much cheaper than a decent gurdy, so as humbug approaches, I am trying to persuade my parents..... I would like to take up the melodeon. I have foundthison evilBay and wondered if anyone could tell me if this would be a good starter, or point me in the right direction to finding a fairly cheap (?00 to ?50) melodeon. Ollie

good old pokerworks. I started on a pokerwork and they are indeed nice. As for prices the D/G ones can sometimes be got at nice prices second hand but as Lester says its normally higher than ?00 - ?50 i recently sold my one for ?50. Theres a guy who sels old hohner pokerworks in c/f that sometimes go for under the ?00 mark.

But keep your eyes peeled as you may just find a nice enough deal
